Food Protection Manager’s Certification Course
Students can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.
The purpose of this course training is to offer a Food Protection Manager Certification course for public and private sector employees, specifically employees who are designated as Manager or “Person In Charge”, (PIC).
The PIC will complete the course and pass the ServSafe exam. The establishment will be in compliance with the Texas Department of State and Health Services Division for Regulatory Services Environmental and Consumer Safety Section Policy Standards, and Quality Assurance Unit Public Sanitation and Retail Food Safety Group, Texas Food Establishment Rules:
Employees will become a certified protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an Accredited Program
