Certification Services provides consultative services to school district administrators by interpreting SBEC rules and regulations and the policies and procedures relating to the certification and assignment of school personnel. Certification Services will assist in the processing of requests for permits and notify districts of eligibility or ineligibility and will also assist persons applying for EXCET, TEXES, TOPT, TASP and TASL testing. Professional development opportunities and technical assistance is provided to districts and charter campuses according to individual needs and as statewide changes occur.
