Getting to Know Me

As a member of the student support team at Region 9, I am privileged to work in several areas that support student learning at the districts in Region 9 as an education specialist. Working in the No Child Left Behind division is giving me some great opportunities to act as a liaison between districts and the Texas Education Agency. Meeting people and assisting them in complying with all the government regulations is very rewarding. With my background being in school counseling, I find my role is often one of support and encouragement.
I love working with children. I find that anything I can do with children is very gratifying. I am all about kids and their success.
