Curriculum Alignment

What road are teachers traveling to deliver content to the students? …the textbook? …the TEKS? …the TAKS objectives?  Region 9 provides training that not only addresses this question but also provide a logical, step-by-step “road map to success” for aligning the trouble spots in the curriculum both horizontally and vertically.  Shelby Waller can conduct this 1 ½ hour training at Region 9 or on-site at your campus.

Curriculum Leadership Cooperative (CLC)

In addition, Region 9 has partnered with Region 5 in bringing a comprehensive curriculum alignment program to districts in Region 9.  This Curriculum Leadership Cooperative (CLC) is a part of the Region 9 Curriculum Cooperative and offers a variety of curriculum alignment tools to ensure schools are aligning instruction to state and national standards, targeting essential vocabulary, and accessing research-based "best practices."  Shelby Waller will offer CLC Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions to principals and administrative teams throughout the year.
