Serving All Your Child Nutrition Needs
The Region 9 Education Service Center Child Nutrition
Program provides training and technical assistance to local school
districts and charter schools in the operation and administration
of Child Nutrition Programs. The Region 9 Child Nutrition Programs
staff includes Craig Adkins, Child Nutrition Specialist and Alicia
Woodard, Secretary.
Our goal is to provide
comprehensive, accurate, timely information about operating cost
effective programs that meet federal and state compliance
regulations while also meeting the needs of the customers of the
school districts and charter schools. Good nutrition, a
critical
key to student success, promotes cognitive development. Child
Nutrition Programs foster healthy eating habits that can last a
lifetime.

Nutrition" and the "National Food Service Management Institute"
will connect you to a world of food and child nutrition
resources.
