Taking Steps to Combat Viruses
By Mike Campbell
We have recently experienced a large number of e-mail attacks that include exe and zip files that will infect your computer. The most recent attacks make you think you are receiving a fax and that it is attached. They appear to come from an esc9.net e-mail account to add to the credibility. If you don't recognize the address or you are not expecting a fax, then don't open it!
In an effort to stop this method of spreading viruses, we are not allowing zip or exe files to be attached to emails. We know this may be inconvenient, but due to the high incidence, we believe it is necessary.
There are alternative methods of sharing these type of files such as dropbox.com or project share.
For more information, follow the instructions below. If you have questions concerning e-mail, contact Mike Campbell.
