Statewide Recognition for Your District

on the TEA Website!

Share your good news! Get statewide recognition for your teachers, students, administrators and staff on “Our Schools Our Stars.” It’s a web page on the TEA website dedicated solely to showcasing achievements, honors and interesting features about Texas public schools. It’s a popular page on the TEA website, averaging almost 14,000 page views per month.

This page is maintained by the TEA Communications Division and we are always looking for press releases, features and announcements to post on “Our Schools Our Stars.” We like pictures, too. Even if you just have an idea for a story to post, we’d like to hear about it.

So send your stories, ideas, press releases and pictures to Sheila.allee@tea.state.tx.us and she will consider them for inclusion. All items need to have statewide interest.

Please share them also with Debbie Cummings, Public Information Officer at Region 9 so she can highlight them on the Region 9 website as well. Her email is debbie.cummings@esc9.net
