Adult Education Pilot Program
Using Distance Learning

Region 9 Adult Education Services Department is testing software this summer that we plan to use for distance learning classes in this next school year. The pictures are the pilot class here in house. The plan is to be able to extend our reach to rural areas where we do not have or can’t have physical classroom instruction due to a number of reasons. Also we plan to offer them to students were even if class instruction is available maybe their schedules prevent attendance during class times. Basically we had not ventured into this territory before but there is a great push from the state to extend Adult Ed into the DL environment. And we are taking the big leap into DL this coming year…
