Program and Services for Gifted/Talented Education (Advanced Academics)

This program provides technical assistance to districts in implementing and evaluating Gifted/Talented programs. It also provides professional development in the area of gifted and talented to classroom teachers, administrators, school board members and parents. Workshops on giftedness, thinking skills, and G/T curriculum design for all teachers are available upon request.

Services Include:
- Credit by Examination Testing
- Student Seminars 2011-2012
- 2011-2012 30-hour G/T Foundational Training
- Face-to-face training is offered each fall semester as well as each summer.
- Online training is available for 4 out of 5 of the classes and is offered each regular semester and once each summer.
- Student Screening Assessments Available for Check Out
- The Small Schools Guide for Quality Gifted Services
