Division of Administrative Services

The Division of Administrative Support Services provides direct services, technical assistance, and professional development to assist in the efficient and effective operations of school districts and charter. Support to school districts is provided in the areas of administrative services, adult education, bus driver training, business services, certification, child nutrition, personnel, and technology.

Division of Instructional Services
and Strategic Planning

The service center provides state mandated services to all Region 9 schools. This includes coordination of monthly RAC meetings, TEA web site services coordination, as well as assistance with accountability issues, coordinating services for drug testing, school bus driver training, public school financial accountability with technical assistance provided in all areas of a school's fiscal operations, and school board member training as required by law and commissioner rule.

Districts may also join the Energy Consortium, which was formed to offer districts within the Region 9 area the best available rate for electricity. LPB Consulting of Houston manages the consortium to meet all bidding requirements. Contracts are issued for a five year period. Contact Dale Thomas for further information or requirements.
