School Readiness Integration (SRI)

The School Readiness Integration (SRI) model provides direct services, training, and technical assistance related to the Texas State SRI Initiative put forth by TEA for prekindergarten programs, Head Starts and Child Care Centers. Coordination of program components for school district Pre-K, Head Start, and Child Care Center prekindergarten programs focusing in developing regional TEEM (Texas Early Education Models) Schools are key components of the program. Integration of services includes:

♦	Developmentally appropriate practices that foster the development and promotion of school readiness skills
♦	Joint participation in professional development
♦	State approved curriculum used in classrooms
