Family Information:

Mike was born and almost raised in Clay County. He and his late brother Billy Don Campbell considered the "Home Place" a small ranching operation that has been in their family since 1889.  It’s located in the center of the Golden Triangle, between Buffalo Springs, Vashti and Post Oak. Mike graduated from Bellevue High School in '71 and then continued his education at Tarleton State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agricultural Education.

Mike taught Agriculture Science for ten years at Lamar CISD in Rosenburg and Rider High School in Wichita Falls. Mike also served as Agribusiness Director for KGTM radio and KAUZ television. Mike and Joe Tom White have shared the microphone since 1985. They can be heard each moring now on KFDX TV-3 and KJTL TV-18 as they host Texoma Country Morning. Mike received his start in technology while working at the Computer Store in Wichita Falls. Five years of OJT allowed him to learn the practical side of technology.

Mike and Tricia have been married since '74 and are the proud parents of Jana, Crystal and Justin. Their daughter Jana married Greg Fletcher and they have 3 children, Elizabeth, Justus and Jacob. Their daughter Crystal married Jason Finch and have added William Michael to the herd and now Samantha Dawn. Justin is currently working for Oncor in Mineral Wells. His bride is Kendall and their current pride and joy is a Great Dane puppy named Moose. Mike and Tricia also welcomed Cody Gomora to the family. He and his bride Amanda have blessed our family with Gracelynn Ruth and Charolett. Cody graduated from the South Texas School of Law and Amanda is an RN in Tarrent County.

Mike's real job is "Education Specialist, Net 9" for Region 9 Education Service Center. Mike is responsible for connecting over 38 schools to the Internet and maintaining their 2 way interactive video system as well as training educators on how to integrate technology into the classroom Mike and Tricia make their home in Henrietta where he has served on the Henrietta ISD school board from 1994 until 2015 and as a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Henrietta.
