You Should Write a Grant for That!  Are you interested in writing grants for educational needs and programs? This session will provide practical advice to help locate and prepare educational grant proposals for federal, state, local, foundation, and corporate funding.  For school and district personnel, this session will include techniques and practice in the development of proposals, needs statements, management/goal setting, and budget development for large and small grants.  A variety of resources will be provided to participants. The session is presented by Texas Instruments grant partnership consultants, but is not specific to calculator technology – learn basic grant writing skills to prepare a grant for any materials and resources you might need in your classroom. NOTE: Please bring your technology devices so we can work online that day.


Coding Session using TI-Rover: November 5, 2018, 9-4, register for Session #346666

“What’s New at TI Now? How about Coding, the TI-Innovator System, and the TI-ROVER!!!” Coding can be simple and fun. Come learn how to write programs on the graphing calculators in your room – We will also explore STEM activities and engineering design with TI’s new TI-Innovator System – A hands-on overview of TI’s programmable robotic vehicle, the TI-ROVER – - will also be provided. This session will provide extensions for all learners, appropriate for middle and high school, and no coding experience necessary. Local TI rep, Robb Wilson, will be attending to answer any questions that you might have about TI products and on-line resources.



  • Science STAAR Review Sessions-Need Assistance Implementing the STAAR Review on Your Campus? ­­Schools may request assistance to implement STAAR Review activities for students on your campus.
