Values-based leadership development emphasizes personal transformation as a pathway toward well-being and thriving and recognizes that personal transformation involves taking action reflective of good values. Wellbeing enhances intrinsic motivation, decreases disciplinary problems, increases academic achievement, improves school satisfaction, and leads to the flourishing of individuals, communities, and nations (Bueckner et al., 2018) 

The iLead values are universal for all humankind. They translate across boundaries to bring people together, no matter their background. 

Region 9 ESC iLead Program is open to schools in our region that serve school-aged students and are interested in participating in our pilot initiative.
