Adult Education & Literacy

Welcome to the Adult Education Center at Region 9 ESC! The Adult Education Center provides adults with sufficient basic education that enables them to effectively acquire the basic educational skills necessary for literate functioning; participate in job training and retraining programs; obtain and retain employment; and continue their education to at least the level of completion of secondary school and preparation for post-secondary education.  We have many partners throughout our 11 counties of the North Texas Workforce Board (Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young) that we serve and continually seek to build new partnerships to improve our services and provide classes to the communities that we serve.
